Local Partners & Sponsors. Our second manifestation was in Charlottesville, VA in the fall of 2013. The Demonstration Village occupied Sojourners United Church of Christ’s old playground, while the Carnival Big Top and Midway filled an adjoining lot. Generous support came from Casa Alma: The Charlottesville Catholic Worker, Charlottesville Community Bikes, Food Not Bombs and many local churches, and righteous food donations poured in from Radical Roots Farm. Carnival de Resistance | The Carnival Embodies a Village Demonstration Project
http://carnivalderesistance.com/the-vision/embody
Local Partners & Sponsors. The Carnival Embodies a Village Demonstration Project. The Carnival Village is one arm of the game we play. We put into use various tools and methods for more sustainable living, building new experiences with energy use, waste management, transportation, and gathering and preparing food for a community. Though there are times that the public joins us, the village is home to our wild crew and quite often our school for continued individual growth. Click here to view the album.
