Vocational services are available to all JESPY clients. With the assistance of a job developer, JESPY clients begin their search for employment that best matches their skills. A job coach provides on-site training and will advocate on behalf of the client at the work site. Typical employment placements include child care, elder care, food service, retail, mailroom and clerical. Pre-placement counseling and training. Individual and group counseling. After acceptance into the JESPY House Program, clients who need to learn the skills required to live independently with supported living services. Will enter the Residential Independent Living. Be sure to read our monthly Health newsletter. The Health Department continues to have a major impact on the lives of JESPY clients. Clients who require intensive health education and support receive individual or small group sessions with a nurse and/or appropriate staff members on a monthly basis. Health education presentations are routinely provided as part of the Day Program. In a typical month, one nurse has 68 contacts with 29 different clients.
