So I wake up this morning to find Chloe on my bed. Since it's been so freaking hot, especially in my loft, it's been a LONG time since she's slept on the bed. I love it, so I of course accept it without suspicion. Silly me. I come downstairs to find that she has puked.in 3 different places! Does she not realize that we have a security deposit to get back in a month? Couldn't she atleast puke on the kitchen floor? Time to scrub the carpet again. Today was the big day - my car has finally hit 100,000 miles (100,003 to be exact). Not only is it a milestone for any car to hit that magic point, but it took me 7 months to get the last 500. The joy of movies. The joy of movies. Every now and then comes a movie that I just have to see, for whatever reasons. And now, as luck would have it, I get to see TWO of those types of movies in ONE week! The gods were certainly smiling when Superman Returns and Pirates 2 were released so closely together. Of course, this also reminded me that I need a dual income who can buy me a boat. I miss going boating regularly. Now, I am sleepy. I only have a few boxes left to pack for moving, but wine coolers, Benadryl (yes, I got hives) and spending the afternoon on a boat real tire a person out. I love this feeling - the feeling of finishing a final paper for grad school (especially when I had 2 due this week). I do believe it's even better than the feeling on the last day of school. They come close, but since I'm experiencing this feeling now, it wins out. On June 15th of next year (yes, June 15th), I might feel differently. Either way, I have finished both of my papers! 8/11/06 12:20 am (UTC). CONGRATS on getting those papers done. Papers can be a pain. Camping sounds like fun.

Let me just say, I loved it. The moment the theme song began, I had a huge grin on my face and I was moving to the music (Polly can attest). And now, I want to see it again. This may actually be the first time that I could go to a movie by myself. But I can't wait for the DVD. What can I say - I'm an impatient girl. Superman isn't supposed to have sidekicks.
