Sunday, May 30, 2010. OK so getting full swing into the racing season has left me little time for anything else! But I do have some exciting news. Britt won her very first trophy! She came in FIRST in her first moto. she even surprised herself! She ended up third overall after the second moto and has moved up to 5th place in the SOAB spring series! Not bad for a girl who thought she was destined to be second last her whole racing career! Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Because Life is Too Short.

Sunday, December 12, 2010. Tha Saga of Kym's Cards. So my friend Kym is very particular about her Christmas cards. They have to be designed just *so* and made the same way. I think we all know that I have a more "get 'er done" attitude. so this year I took charge! At least I thought I did.). I forced her to make a standard size card (to find envelopes easily) and forced her hand on a flat card (regular postage). but somehow she managed to cajole us into a bunch of extra steps just the same!

Apparently, My Nana Has A Blog . Monday, August 20, 2012. Sand through my fingers. Just continuing doing challenges from the Olympic crop. Over at Sisterhood of Scrap, I decided to keep combining the challenges with those at Scrapshotz. When I'd read the challenges at SSZ, I was struck by Rosie's example for her challenge. I wanted to copy it badly! I think it was the simple design and the strong lines around the triangles that really piqued my interest. So, I did what I said I'd do and I copied it!
