Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Cole up to bat. Running to the base with his buddy. Chatting with his buddy on the field. I caught the ball! Trading head gear with his buddy. At the last game, they handed out medals. Cole was so excited to show his award to everyone that he took off running with it and it smacked him right on the cheek. It dazed him for a few seconds but he quickly recovered and was off once again to show all his fans his award. Being presented with his award. Look at my medal! A hole in 2!

Sunday, June 21, 2015. Back to the Fawn-Doe-Rosa. We made our annual journey out to St. Croix Falls to visit the Fawn-Doe-Rosa. If you're an animal lover, the Fawn-Doe-Rosa is the place to be. It's basically a giant petting zoo (although they do have some wild animals that are NOT petable). Many of the animals roam free throughout the park so be sure to watch your step or you may leave with your shoes covered in a souvenir! Of course, the Fawn-Doe-Rosa wouldn't be the Fawn-Doe-Rosa without deer! Rose too...

Sunday, August 30, 2015. Duluth Bound.4 Years Later. Nearly 4 years ago, we traveled to Duluth to hand deliver our dossier (all our adoption paperwork) to the Colombian Coordinator at Lutheran Social Services. We dropped our documents off on October 24, 2011 and on that very day our documents were shipped off, bound for Bogota. What a journey the next 4 years would be as we waited for our little niña! In August of 2015, we were back in Duluth.this time as a family of 5! Next to the William A. Irvin.

Thursday, September 25, 2014. Another Year of Preschool For Cole. Cole started his 3rd year of preschool at Pike Lake. He's now in the "4s" class that meets four mornings a week. On his first day, he pacified Mom with the obligatory first-day-of-school photo session. He's definitely perfected the forced smile (eyes squinted, nose curled and teeth clenched). Saturday, August 22, 2009. Lately, Xavier thinks it is great fun to empty the clothes out of his dresser. He then brings me the clothes, one by one. He is so proud of himself. We can't figure out why he is doing this. Our thought is that he thinks he is helping mom with laundry. What a little helper! The other day Xavier got ahold of a papertowel and started cleaning the floors and the cabinets. I'm not sure where he learned such mad cleaning skills but it sure is cute! Sunday, May 17, 2009. We can't believe how much Xavier changes every day. He loves to play patty cake and is so proud of himself when he does it.he can even play patty cake with his feet. Xavier has discovered the outdoors and wants to be outside all of the time. He recently sat on the grass for the first time and now we can't get him inside! If he's not outside, he's standing at the front door staring outside! He got four of his top teeth this month. He sure has a cute smile now that he has six teeth.
