Sunday, September 27, 2009. On Saturday morning we got treated to a great surprise! NO YOU DON'T PUSH! That's when Jamie got a little keyed up.) You know those movies where the mother is panting or screaming in the passenger seat and the father is driving like a maniac to get her to the hospital before baby comes? Caleb Dallin Childers born at 5 lbs. 15 oz and 19 inches long. Ten minutes after we arrived at the hospital. Perfectly beautiful and healthy! Jabberings of Jamie, Amanda, and Kids.

Saturday, October 3, 2009. We love our little Caleb! It's amazing how fast you can fall in love. I love to cuddle and watch him; he's so cute and such a good baby. Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Well we have had yet another crazy month at our house :). Matt got a new job with a company based in Iowa so he has taken 2 trips out there this month, one for 2 weeks (at the end of June) and the other one for 1 week. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. New year, new me? I swear I am trying to be way more positive about things this year, even if it doesn't sound like it :). I am really happy with that, I have lost that much once before but it took me about 5 months to do it (not the 3 it took me this time) and I was taking a weight loss supplement as well. I am really proud of myself for sticking it out, going every day (well almost, December was hard for me) and for learning all kinds of new things. Or did you feel satisfied?

Thursday, August 18, 2011. Is it possible to ALWAYS be positive? I'm not even sure how to start this blog other than to say I am having an oh poor me pity day. Could I bear that? Could our marriage bear that? Don't you know that there are people, more people than just me that would give anything to have a child as wonderful as yours in their life? Monday, August 31, 2009. My cousin Katie is getting married, so we had her Bachelorette party up in Park City at Harrio's. Fun night with the ladies! Me and the Bride to be! I spent a good part of the weekend up at Powder Mountain for a MotoX race. I sang the national anthem, and my bro was up there coaching a kid he trains with. Brandt is OBSESSED with Motorcross. It doesn't help that my dad used to race pro and that my brother races in the Pro Supercross series. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Interesting time of year isn't it.winter and taxes.hmmmm. Good thing I have alreay done our taxes! However, Brandt seems to be bummed out -watch this clip - we were laughing our heads off! It seems to be a typical pattern where I wake up in a "Snow Globe" - that's what I call our neighborhood. Monday, September 7, 2009. I have been helping my parents move into a new home, and its funny how emotional moving can be. Especailly if you have lived in the same house (like them) for 25 years. We keep finding old "treasures"! I found this CD with old pictures from back when Brandt was 1 years old. I got so emotional. These are pics from Brandt's first trips to Indiana before my grandpa passed away. Brandt thought it was bath time in the water as we were getting pedicures! It was so cute!
