So cold, so inappropriately dressed, so me. Monday, December 12, 2011. And then met up with my friend Olga for a couple drinks before heading to bed relatively early. The next day, we slept in and had coffee brought to us in bed – quite the life! Aunt Ann and I on the double decker bus. Aunt Ann, me, and Hubert. Eiffel Tower at night.

Monday, September 26, 2011. Today, I got to school early and decided to go to the computer lab before class. As soon as I sat down, my new friend DJamal rushed over and said he had to say hi! Sunday, September 25, 2011. This weekend has been another whirlwind. Friday was a glorious day – after class we bough sandwiches and ate by the fountain in Place Grenette. Then, we went to Hagen Da. It’s very relaxing and you can look out the window and see land the entire time. Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere.

Sunday, October 30, 2011. Verdun Prefecture - aka my fav. reading spot. The second day (Friday), I was super excited because I was not utterly exhausted. I was ready to head back out and go on another adventure! Returned to the patisserie and ate yummy desserts, explored and took more pictures. Check out the difference in clouds. so cool! Pub 2 - infamous London Pub. Pub 1 (sorta - too crowded). Pub 3 - recommendation from the local! Might be the best dessert I've ever had. Another couple random tid bits:.

After my test, I headed to the train station and went to Paris to meet up with Aunt Ann and Nora at the nicest hotel I’ve ever been to – the Westin right by the Tuileries Garden. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Somehow, I got the best gig ever for my living situation. I am staying in a beautiful house with a ducks and roosters in the front yard and flower and vegetable gardens in the back (get excited for pics that I have yet to take). It is exactly like the quaint, picturesque European homes in movies. Any direction I look, I see the Alps. I am a minute walk from the train I take to the Université and about a 5-10minute walk to the tram. They are wise and patient with my French.
