Friday, September 02, 2005. Hurricane victims compared to tsunami victims. In comparison, it seems that at least one-half of every hurricane victim shown on television is overweight if not obese. I don't really know what kind of conclusions to draw from this, but I found it to be an interesting observation between the physical characteristics of victims from the "third world" compared with those in the "first world.".
