What did I do before this boy? How will we ever decide? Wednesday, August 26, 2009. S0, on Monday we were at our favorite place, the Austin School playground. While there Maverick found his new tiara! He was running around like crazy with it on his head or rather on his face! He was wearing it as a mask and looking through the holes of it. It was hilarious. I figure since he rules the house, he might as well have the crown! Love the crown jewels! Yesterday he got to do a spinal tap on a 34-week preemie.

We just sank the Titanic. Saturday, May 1, 2010. We just sank the Titanic. This weekend Cristian and Carlee are visiting us from Omaha. This morning we went Morel mushroom hunting with some success. We found about 7 mushrooms which we're going to eat for supper. I put some in the meatloaf, so we'll see how that tastes! Then, this afternoon after Maverick woke up from his nap, we headed to the local ice cream shop Scoops to conquer the Titanic Sundae. It was 5 scoops of ice cream.

I like to say I could’ve made it just in more time BUT I’m thankful I didn’t have to find this out… Oh, and we didn’t tell Sarah he was coming. Again, thanks to Dad, we made it with only one stop due to weather (“To lower the blood pressure a little…”). The kids were amazing. It comes in handy when we need a spare t-shirt or pair of socks but when the bikes came out we quickly realized Alexander was due for a big bike like his sister. He couldn’t agree more! Tuesday, March 29. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who helped us move! It went much more quickly and more smoothly than we could have imagined. It actually was a lot of fun! First a big thanks the Abby, my mom and Avery for coming to help pack. Avery helped a lot as you can see. Some moving day, we were all packed and just needed the muscles to get everything down our three flights of stairs, into the uhaul and then into the new house. The Uhaul almost full. The moving crew taking a lunch break.
