Saturday, October 22, 2011. I picked up some great new music yesterday. Jazz guitarist's "All we need." an instrumental album of John Lennon and Beatles tunes - great music for creative writing! I also picked up the new Downhere cd "On the altar of love", which reminded me a story. Our our way to the coast we put the cd in the car stereo, and while we enjoyed it I though - I didn't know 'downhere' sounded like this? Tuesday, April 18, 2006. Easter is great (but I'm glad it's over). Wow, what a crazy weekend! A great weekend, but chock full of stuff. It started on Thursday night for me, with the final practice for the Good Friday Service, which I co-led with another pastor. Friday, November 11, 2005. I took in the Remberance Day service at the Muliplex today. It was quite an emotional service for me, especially when the pipe band entered the rink. Since my grandfather died a few weeks ago, and was a WW2 vet, I was definatly thinking a lot about him today. My only regret is that I never really got to talk to him about it when he was alive. Thursday, October 13, 2005. I've made my yearly trip home to Round Lake for Thanksgiving. Wow, it's been really nice to have to time off to be here. I'm hiking a fair bit with my Mom, which has been fantastic! It's really sunny now, so I'm hoping we can get a hike in today, maybe Moose Mountain - which I can see from my parents dining room. Monday, June 08, 2009. Why I love maps. We were quite close actually. Instead we walked an extra 5 or 6 kms going the way we did! Now, I blame this on two things:. 1 I'm a guy, and I don't like to ask for directions. 2 There were no maps on the seawall, that we could see, and therefore we didn't realize how close we were to reaching the end of our walk. To top it all off, once we were out of the park we had to walk/ hobble our way back to the Skytrain station . and that is why I love maps!

Sunday, October 22, 2006. Ever been NERVOUS, SAD, and EXCITED at the same time? As you may or may not have heard. I have resigned as the Assistant Pastor at our church in Ladysmith. We have had 8 fantastic years here. We are sad to go. We are going to miss our youth, friends, and church family immensely. My last day in the office is on Thurs Nov 30th. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Black and White Picture. This is a picture of Oakley and I at Gavin and Becky Brisco's wedding. Oakley was the ring bearer.
