The World As I See It. Monday, August 27, 2007. To Istanbul. Today Istanbul with its skyline studded with domes and minarets, is home to 14 million of the 68 million people living in Turkey. Lined with hip restaurants, cafes and bars where both men and women crowded the streets. The later the hour, the more crowded the pedestrian mall became. In addition to the main line, there is now also a spur to serve Hong Kong Disneyland which opened in 2005. The special, Disney themed cars. Can carry up to 10,000 people per hour. Hong Kong Disneyland. Which opened in 1986 after seven years of construction. The building was designed by Lord Norman Foster.
