Monday, July 20, 2015. We drive down to Utah to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Josh couldn't get off from work, so he stays in Meridian. Our first night we spend at Snowbird Ski Resort. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Rachel Joins a YMCA Volleyball Team. Rachel has wanted to play volleyball for several years now. She got a babysitting job after school for an accountant during tax season and she helped pay to join the team. She did really well and she learned a lot. Her team team was the Purple Crushers. She is hopeful that this gave her more experience/practice when she tries out for the school team in the fall. Keeping her eye on the ball and being prepared to bump it back.

Friday, January 23, 2015. Jessi's Capstone Paper is Published. Jessi's life was changed when she taught English in Thailand two years ago. She wrote her capstone paper (which is a paper to graduate with her degree from BYU) on this tradition that the Burmese. Women have of wearing these neck bands. It is titled: Trapped in Their Own Rings: Padaung Women and Their Fight for Traditional Freedom. It was a lot of research for Jessi and she loved every minute of it as she learned so much more about these women.

Saturday, June 13, 2015. A Long Visit with Ethan (and Danielle and Aaron). Ethan grabbed Gramma's phone, then I guess he might have thought that it doesn't work without looking through glasses, so he grabbed those next. He probably has never seen Gramma use it without using her glasses (and if they match the color of the case- all the better! Having fun with Grampa with the wheelbarrow! Ethan enjoying licking the spoon from the chocolate cake we baked together. Gotta take them off to watch a movie.

Monday, February 23, 2015. Josh Get's His First Job. After putting in several applications, Josh got offered a job at Arby's. He was so excited after the interview as he knew he nailed it! We are so very proud of him and how is handling this new responsibility! Sunday, February 22, 2015. We are so close to saying that the upstairs is completely finished. We are only waiting for the trim guy to come and finish the linen closet in the bathroom. We are thrilled to have the extra space! Love that look, Josh!

Monday, July 20, 2015. Larry took me eat at the Roof Restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for dinner and we had amazing view of the Temple. It was wonderful! Tuesday, June 24, 2014. So here is where we stayed. I wasn't so sure of staying in a hostel, but it was just fine. We met people from China, France, Canada and Germany; as well as a couple from New York. We only really slept there as we spent so much time in the Park. Before we got to the Grizzly and Wolf Center, like I said, we were stuck in traffic. Can't really complain at all when this is your view as you are stuck, right? The lake had such brilliant colors, different shades of blues. So pretty!

Monday, August 25, 2014. First Day of School. Josh's first day as a Sophomore at Rocky Mountain High School. Rachel's first day of 8th grade. Sunday, August 10, 2014. The Upstairs Is Painted! We have really worked hard this summer! We have put in the sprinklers in front and back yards. We have planted grass, and planted the flower beds, laid bark and rock (after we put down the weed barrier) and we have sheet rocked, and painted the whole upstairs! Saturday, July 11, 2015. While the kiddo's were off at Trek, Larry and I decided at the last minute to drive up for a night at McCall. We just needed to get away! It was such a nice break from our daily life! We took a chair lift ride up at Brundage Ski Resort. We got a little wet before we got the top, as it decided to rain for about ten minutes.
