Friday, 30 March 2012. Slowly but surely we will get there! Thursday, 29 March 2012. I arrived at the hospital this morning to find Mom without her NG tube and very happy about it! Wednesday, 28 March 2012. Today was a sleepy day. Mom was very tired and dozed on and off for most of the day. She only walked twice because she couldn't get up the energy to go the third time. Saturday, 21 April 2012. Not much going on today. Mom is comfy, a little nauseous but nothing too bad. She has IV antibiotics which is better for her stomach right now. They decreased her long acting morphine a little as she was getting fairly dopey and she is very alert now. We probably have to wait out the weekend and see what Monday brings.
