Sunday, September 19, 2010. How much does setting affect the course of a story, and the characters in it? Could the setting itself be considered a character? These are a couple of questions that were recently brought up on Jen's Blog. That have had me thinking the last couple days. But to add to that, I've been cleaning up a house recently that had been lived in by a couple of rather heavy smokers. Yeah, really not pleasant, but it added to that thinking about setting today. Monday, October 18, 2010. What have I gotten myself into? I've got a really busy month and a half ahead of me. To start with, I'm planning on taking part in NaNoWriMo. So, the last couple days have left me wondering what the hell I've gotten myself into. How did I think I was going to be able to manage all of that? Especially since I work nights. October 18, 2010 at 2:58 PM. Wow, thats a lot on your plate! But dont worry- Nanowrimo, as you know, is all about joyous too-much-to-do syndrome. You can do it!
