Find out what we have been busy with. Saturday, March 31, 2012. A thought provoking vocabulary lesson. I was chatting with a friend of mine the other day. This friend has no children of her own, but she often babysits for her cousin. As we were talking, she tells me the following story and asks if I think she did the right thing. Word and then shove her over. The two of them, took the game away, made sure the girl was alright, and sat down with the boy to find out what had happened. Why did you do that?

Find out what we have been busy with. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. It's been really hard for me the past week or so. After breakfast, I spent some time at the park with my sister and my niece. We fed the ducks and geese, talked, and I took pictures. My sister drove an hour, one way, just so I could see them that weekend. It means more than I could ever say. Truth is, it's harder than I thought to update the blog with 3 kids, a dog, 2 business, and everything that has been going on. Since my last post -. I turned 28, rather quietly. Jessica - Vi byggde ett nytt hus 2009. Nu när huset är klart så har vi bara lite trädgårdsfix kvar. Bloggen kommer nog mest handla om träning från och med NU!
Lite fakta om mig. En 42årig tvåbarnsmamma. Arbetar som lärare på SFI. Gillar att fixa hemma och att träna. Träning inför nästkommande grenar. Trött på att vara förkyld. Söndagen den 5 juli var det dags för Tjejvansbro. Som vi hade våndats över det kalla vattnet. Vi kollade på Vansbrosimmets hemsida flera gånger i veckan för att se om temperaturen ökade. Vi hade tur och när det väl var dags så var temperaturen uppe i 18 grader! Första dagen var Jenna och jag och övade och till dagen efter kom Annelie.

I completed my PhD in neuroscience at Stony Brook University in 2012. There I worked in the Wollmuth Lab. Studying inputs to inhibitory neurons in the visual cortex. These neurons help turn turn the brightness, color, and shape of the world into our perception of objects in space. I have spent a significant amount of time volunteering with the Sierra Club, the largest oldest grassroots environmental organization in the country. I have served in several capacities within the Sierra Club (see resume).

November 9, 2010. Get Hitched, Give Hope! A few weeks ago, I had the joy and good fortune of being part of Get Hitched, Give Hope! Raises money to grant wishes for stage IV breast cancer patients. This year, over $64,000. Seattle wedding vendors donate their time and services to make it all happen. Along with Erin Skipley. I prepped the models’ hair and make up for the event at the Seattle Four Seasons. The models wore gowns and accessories from La Belle Reve. Kim and Adam Bamberg of La Vie Photography.
