Friday, November 18, 2016. Last week we had to go down to the National Guard base to do some paperwork. I hadn't been there since right after Jed and I got married and I needed to get a military ID. I sat there in the same chair with (I think) the same lady almost seven years later and couldn't help but look back on how far we've come. What a journey it's been! Part of me is amazed that it's already that time and another part of me is disappointed that we aren't closer to the end yet. I find myself day dreaming about being back in our own home with Jed a lot more often these days. Friday, December 23, 2016. The Countdown Is On. We celebrated my Grandma Irma's 79th birthday at the nursing home last Thursday. You might remember me writing about her falling and being in the hospital and then the nursing home for rehab. Guess what- she was finally able to go home this week!
