My 3 year old. In Slice of Life. Asymp; 7 Comments. Three year old isn’t a baby anymore. “Mama I a big kid” he tells me with the most adorable grin. My three year old is the best big brother, always looking out for Noahs best interest. He shows the most sincere empathy when Noah is sad. Even made up a little song to keep Noah smiling. And it works every time. My three year old is intelligent. Knows his letters, numbers, shapes, can read a few words, and his problem solving skills amaze me. What a loveabl...

Peace out, Dreadmill! | For the Love of Teaching...

For the Love of Teaching…. Peace out, Dreadmill! March 14, 2015. I’m trying to get skinny. Please move out of my way! So as I pulled into the over crowed parking lot this morning…late… and headed inside, I was perfectly annoyed before I even dropped off my things. Every treadmill was taken. Want to go on an elliptical? Wanted to do those machines over there? Sorry, the guys with big muscles are using it to hold their gym bags. Ugh…so annoyed. Did I have to stop and walk a bit? Did I enjoy my run outside ...

Childhood Hangout | For the Love of Teaching...

For the Love of Teaching…. March 17, 2015. Eight blocks are all that stood between me and my favorite childhood hangout. A hangout that opened my eyes to so many possibilities and gave me a brief reprieve from my daily life… A hangout that allowed me to stuff my backpack to the brim with adventures and characters that could transport me to millions of other places. 8211; I met Marie-Antoinette and her perpetual need to live a life of grandeur. 8211; Made new friends in castles full of witches and wizards.

I gently comb my hand through his hair and wipe away his tears. He looks me in the eyes and gives a look as to say, thank you for being there for me. I kiss him on the check. He kisses me even harder on the check, turns around and runs back to play. He is all better for now. View all 4 comments. March 8, 2016.

I think it’s great that your hubby does all of these things, especially without being asked. My husband is an excellent cook and he takes care of most meals. I am the cleanup crew. It’s nice to work as a team. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). For the Love of Teaching…. Monthly Archives: March 2015. Score…Happy Sunday to Me! March 22, 2015. I dread getting my taxes done…absolutely dread it. I have this persistent fear that I am going to owe a ton of money…that I don’t have…to the government (mind you, I’ve never actually owed ANYTHING to the government). Not only that, but I despise the fact that it costs me $140 for 5 minutes of my accountant’s time…seriously? 140 for 5 minutes? Maybe I’m in the wrong profession…. Wisdom of a 12 year old.

For the Love of Teaching…. Hola, Riviera Maya! March 18, 2015. I had never left the country before the summer of 2011. I’ve always had the urge to travel, but between working and college full time, I never really had the time, or money, to travel abroad. So when my older sister Kelli suggested a vacation to Mexico, I couldn’t refuse. After being asked about our intentions for our trip (Why are you here? How long do you plan on staying? Are you here to buy drugs? Did something happen recently? So many ner...
