I was constantly told I had an overactive imagination, but I would not change my beliefs, despite the pleading of my family to face reality. To me, my thoughts were my reality. Friday, October 20, 2006. The happiest day of my life occurred on May 6th, 2006, which was the day of my high school’s Junior/Senior Prom. While Prom alone is a very important event to anyone who has a date, that wasn’t the reason May 6th was an important day for me. To me, Prom day was so special because it was the day my boyfriend, Adam, asked me to marry him. Before I knew it, Adam was on one knee and had pulled out a ring.
