A Glimpse Into the Master Bedroom →. July 28, 2014. 1 A couple of weeks ago, I went out to lunch with the other teachers on my first grade team. We went to American Taproom at Willow Lawn and it was yummy! It was also nice getting to catch up with them and see how their summers have been going. Though I think we all miss each other, I don’t think we’re quite ready to give up our summer freedom and head back into the classroom. All in all it was a fun night and we always enjoy our time at the Carey house.

One of the best and easiest ways to add a nautical touch to any room is by using a Monkey’s Fist Knot. This knot is very versatile and can be used multiple ways in any room. It can function as a door stop, a curtain tie back, or just as adornment to the coffee table. After seeing these on Pinterest, I decided to try my hand at making a few to add some details to my nautical themed guest bedroom.
