Randall Cattle

Randall cattle have arrived in Minnesota! We are officially the second farm in MN to add Randall cattle to our operation, but we are still so excited about them, that we dont mind being second! In April 2011 two cows and a young bull made the trek to central MN from Missouri. We are very thankful to the kind folks at. Witness Tree Land and Livestock. Geese, Turkeys, and Chickens

While we have yet to start a formal breeding/growing program with our birds, we enjoy raising a few heritage poultry breeds to round out our farm. Our favorite breeds are Delaware chickens, American Buff Geese and Narragansett Turkeys. We also have a few Guinea fowl and Muscovy ducks. Our birds free range the farm and sometimes snag a free meal from the hogs (thats a Dominique chicken below).
Grass Fed Beef

We now have a young Galloway bull that will begin contributing his genes to the herd this fall. Stay tuned for more info and pictures! Raised on sunshine and fresh air! We are in the process of increasing our beef herd and transitioning to rotational grazing. In late fall we do sell calves out of the herd that have been raised only on milk, forage and minerals. If you are interested in finishing your own calf, and dont want to gamble with a sale barn calf, come to the farm and pick out one of ours.
