Raggedy Ann Did It: April 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Sunday, April 28, 2013. As a mother to four small children, being tested happens on a daily basis. Some days, I'm the super chill, cool mom that is enjoying the moment and going with the flow. On others, I'll drop the F-bomb left and right, all in an effort to keep my cool. It happened the other night. Lily made a loud and bold statement. Horrified, I said, "Don't say shit like that! Amanda is so freak'n cool" wife, to the "your wife is a ...

Raggedy Ann Did It: June 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Thursday, June 13, 2013. Recently I've noticed an abundance of well-meaning child art on various websites (buzzfeed.com first comes to mind). In which adults interpret the message a bit differently than the child intended, or the kid completely throws their parents under the bus. Here are a few of my favorites from the big girls. (In time, Lucy and Charlie will create masterpieces of their own, on paper and not on my walls.). Today, my gra...

Raggedy Ann Did It: Small Business Saturday
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013/11/small-business-saturday.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Friday, November 29, 2013. Thanksgiving is over. Naturally, our society and the media shout louder than ever “TODAY YOU MUST SPEND MONEY! It’s BLACK FRIDAY, for goodness sake! Some retailers even had the gall to open on Thanksgiving Day. The media coined this shopping day as “Brown Thursday”. Really? That’s the best they could come up with? A) you will be the only one not doing it;. B) you obviously don’t want to save money;. All over the ...

Raggedy Ann Did It: November 2012
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Wednesday, November 21, 2012. And we're off like a heard of turtles. Sensing this may actually now be a problem, I decided our next road trip was going to be the one where we shocked everyone by arriving when we said we would. This personal dare was no small task either. Driving 427 miles to Grandpa Mike's house, with all four kidlets in tow, and leaving Adam at home . . . YIKES! Sunday, November 18, 2012. What's in a name? With the kidlet...

Raggedy Ann Did It: Balcony Testing
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013/10/balcony-testing.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Wednesday, October 9, 2013. When Adam was in college, he and his frat brothers would do something called "roof testing". They basically would hurl an item off the roof and watch it break. And when it did, man roars and expletives could be heard from blocks away. Good times, right? Do tell her the truth? Do I try to find a new one? Do I glue it back together? This is what I had to work with. Because Leah got this gem at a thrift shop, findi...

Raggedy Ann Did It: July 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Saturday, July 13, 2013. It's been a while since I've written about my brood. For some odd reason, I thought that once summer was here, I'd have more free time. LOLCOI. Another excellent find on urban dictionary! Anyhoo, I did have some time to pull some classic pictures I've taken over the years. This post was inspired by the story of Kevin Spacey's awesome photobomb. Check it out if you haven't read it yet! What doesn't this guy do?

Raggedy Ann Did It: December 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Lucy - Star of the Week! Remember in my first post I said I didn't do baby books? That's not entirely true - I kind of did about six pages of one for Leah, but that's it (it was one of those instant scrap books where you just have to place the pictures on the various pages). Lily has a photo album and well, the other two, they are lucky if I even print off a picture of them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Raggedy Ann Did It: February 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. The Face of an Angel. I remember one time I was out to lunch with a friend. She brought along her one year old son and continued to ask if it was OK that he tagged along. I reassured her it was great to see them both and we caught up on our latest news. Was I was confused –. During the meal, Charlie was the complete opposite of Baby E. He screamed, he cried, he threw stuff, and then made the meal really spec...

Raggedy Ann Did It: May 2013
http://raggedyanndidit.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Raggedy Ann Did It. I had a mind once. Now I have small children. Friday, May 17, 2013. For as long as I can remember, I've known how to skate. Where I grew up, if you could walk, your dad would take you to the Community Center. Lace you up in a tiny pair of skates and set you on the ice. Dad might let you have a metal folding chair to scoot forward, but that's it. If you fell, you got up. There was no hand holding or kissing boo boos. We were dying laughing! Keep on rock'n it buddy boo! Queen for a day!
