I don't know where it came from, maybe I thought we were exceptional care takers, whatever. It's a stupid thing to think. We lost Nirvana at age 10, she was about to turn 11. Granted, my parents were the actual care takers of her, but still. That should have put me in some perspective. 3 comments Leave a comment.

I volunteered at Tabby's Place today for 2 hours to get myself in the game a bit before working a longer shift on Monday. It was awesome. I didn't have a problem doing anything and I still feel awesome. I've been doing a lot and feeling great! I've been doing laundry, cleaning, doing more with the kids. I feel like a productive member of society!

What brainiac came up with the idea of a balanced calendar that doesn’t even really add time onto the school year yet takes away from summer vacation? And can you imagine what the kids are going to be like after a two week spring break? Ready to buckle down and study for finals, I’m sure! Reconnecting will be so wonderful – I can’t wait. I’m also getting ready for Spain – only two and a half more weeks! This is a problem.
