Our Adventure Awaits...: April 2012
http://ouradventureawaits.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
April 5, 2012. The unknown is scary. We've been house hunting the last few days here at Camp Lejeune, our future home in about 6 weeks. It's been a struggle to find a decent rental without paying out the nose or having to deal with horrible base traffic. I was so looking forward to not having to deal with traffic anymore! Pictures are loading wayyy to slow and the beach rental must be cleaned before we leave. Will post more pictures about the beach from home! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

April 25, 2011. Mommy's Monday Memory: Bliss. With a very busy week ahead of us, I have to remember to slow down and enjoy my wonderful family! Links to this post. April 23, 2011. I know I forgot my last Mommy's Monday Memory, but I got the stomach virus the Friday before and have been chilling out recovering. My awesome Mom came down to help with the kids, then got sick herself, and stayed healthy enough for one day to travel home. I love you Mom! Links to this post. April 12, 2011. Links to this post.

March 16, 2012. No more ice cream. There's a wonderful place, well.it used to be wonderful. There's a place about 3 miles from the house that serves soft-serve ice cream called JoJo's. Is it just called soft-serve or can we add the ice cream description? Mmm, not sure. Anyway. The weather has been fantastic so we ventured out to JoJo's for soft-serve. You can see Ryan behind the little girls head who's looking at the camera, waiting to order our yummy dessert. Apparently, we need to teach J-Man how to ho...

Our Adventure Awaits...: happy birthday, dr. seuss
http://ouradventureawaits.blogspot.com/2012/03/happy-birthday-dr-seuss.html
March 1, 2012. Happy birthday, dr. seuss. Olivia has been learning about rhyming at school and needed to read 5 Dr. Seuss books for homework this week. Thanks to the wonderful world of Pinterest, we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday early yesterday by crafting. She absolutely enjoyed getting her hands painted. One picture went to school with her today for her wonderful teacher, Mrs. Smith. Then she wanted to paint her feet. It tickled. A. Lot. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://ouradventureawaits.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 23, 2011. Olivia's Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy. Up with the sun to drive to the hospital. We are so thankful for TriCare's use of civilian doctor's and their willingness to accept TriCare. After seeing the ENT on Tuesday, she's having her surgery today, Thursday. Getting this done now will allow for 5 days after her two week post-op appointment before we leave and a weight lifted off my shoulders. Starbucks opens at 5am, something I didn't know til now! With our new cool hats! Links to this post.

The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Monday, April 30, 2012. God on the loose among us. Sue sent these photos of the ways she's seen God on the loose. There's a female cardinal that wants to drive out another cardinal she thinks is in our basement window. I guess we all want to protect what we feel is ours. In the woods, there is life growing from an old dead stump. Thanks for sharing, Sue! How have you seen God on the loose? E-mail photos to pastorkirsten(at)gmail(dot)com. And so w...

The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Wednesday Witness: Sue H. Sue is the oldest "kid" at Peace. She is our oldest member, but has spunk and energy that makes it hard to believe. A few weeks ago, I had coffee with her at M'n'M's and we talked and talked about life and books and faith. Thanks to be to God for Sue and all of the faithful witnesses to God's work in this wonderful world. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Tuesday's Text- Isaiah 40:1-11. Every vall...
