I am so happy to finally be able to get the house in order and be able to actually function like a human being. There was some damage to our stuff but nothing too major that I've found yet. They do not abide by speed limits (and if you happen to go the speed limit or even 5 or TEN miles over they still ride your bumper and I mean like 2 inches away! Or red lights. Married to the Army: For Better or Worse. Sunday, August 7, 2011. So I just started watching the show Army Wives. I know the show is fake but I can't help but think that there is some truth behind some of the characters. Some of the wives' attitudes and behaviors are definitely spot on with what I have encountered so far. On a sadder note, you've all heard/read about the 31 people who were killed in Afghanistan in the helicopter crash. Sadly, I knew one of the people that was killed.
