Friday, December 4, 2009. Festival of the Trees. This year we started celebrating the Christmas season by going to the Festival of Trees with Andrew and Carrie. We first had a delicious dinner at their apartment (that was so cutely decorated for Christmas)- complete with our family's famous Christmas candies for dessert and then drove up to Sandy. There were so many amazingly decorated trees- from classy gold and red trees, to motorcycle themed, and everything in between. The BYU themed tree.

Saturday, October 31, 2009. You would think that being from California, I would have been able to say that I have gone to Disneyland several times- but that is not true. Sadly, before this weekend, I had never. Been there. But now, thank you to the Topham family, I have experienced the magic of Disneyland. They are regulars there so I was privileged to go with a family who knew the ways (to say the least) and have a blast with them. Matthew, me, Sam, and Danica. Monday, August 31, 2009. So after 4 months of working at the pool, relaxing at home, and not studying anything, I am officially back to school. I had orientation on Wednesday and Thursday and by lunch on Wednesday, I felt like I had known these girls for years. There 60 girls in my Dental Hygiene Program and I love them all already. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. There's this thing called Post Ranch Depression. Approximately 70 or so people suffer from this disorder once a year. It's real. And it bites. This summer i worked at Birch Creek Service Ranch as a counselor/cook for teenagers. I've been back in civilization for a month and I still find myself bringing the ranch into my daily conversations. I know that it's annoying. I can't help it, people. The reason post ranch depression is so common. Learn to like what doesn't cost much.

April 5, 2013. I'm not going to even try to give an excuse as to why I haven't posted for almost 2.5 years.because in truth, it's just been pure laziness! But here I am, and maybe this time I will follow through. Wow, so much has happened in the span of time I've been gone that I'm not even sure how to update w/o spending weeks writing, what would end up being, a novel. So, I will just start with today.
