The New Testament stresses the Church, and so should we. Unfortunately, the institutional elements often dominate even in so-called non-denominational denominations. How many people I've seen totally burned-out from Church service and how many sermons I've heard begging the congregation to give lots of money to keep the doors open. We are pressured to become members of our local Church (but the New Testament and early Church never did this). It makes me tired all over again just thinking about it all.
