The Sound — Jettison Studios

Jettison Studios is situated on 3 acres in rural Illinois, 45 minutes outside of St Louis. The live room is 900 square feet with an adjacent isolation room for amps. The live room has an 11-foot ceiling and cedar walls to help with a more natural sound. It is an extremely comfortable room to play in, very relaxed. Each performer has their own headphone mix, controlled by them.

The Mix — Jettison Studios

The digital/analog hybrid mixing system gives Jettison Studios a professional yet affordable final product. I use Pro Tools 10HD and rely on the UAD plug-ins from Universal Audio for internal sound shaping. The audio is then summed through the Chandler Mini Mixer to achieve a bigger and warmer sound.
