News and Info from Grade 6/7. The Grade 6/7 class had the amazing opportunity to attend the Tour for Humanity bus last week and a trip to the museum. At the museum students investigated the history of winter sports in the Red Lake area. This prompted many interesting conversations regarding equipment and how much things have changed. News and Info from Grade 6/7. What day is it? Not sure what day we’re actually on, my greater concern is “in which town/city is my bed waiting? Today was another amazing day with the kids. We arrived in Edmonton this afternoon for more adventure. After checking into the hotel, the kids got ready for Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall. After that they were set free in what one parent called “the retail jungle.” They did pretty good, all very excited to share what they bought. Comments : Leave a Comment.

On Friday November the 11th we had a Remembrance Day assembly. Lots of classes went along passing down the microphone and saying something but our class did poses of war for a few minutes. Mrs. Ried showed us some winter/arctic clothes one of them cold even hold a baby. She also told us about how Inuit people are aboriginal and how they used to be called Eskimos which meant raw meat eaters. Mrs. Reid even stayed in Nunavut for 4 years! I really want to go to Nunavut one day.

The grades 1 to 5 will have a Sock Hop and a dance for grades 6 to 8! The admission fee is 2 dollars, but if you really want to help the foundation you can bring more!
