JG's Flying/Roadtrip USA 2014. Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Fort Bridger, 'Mountain Man Rendezvous'. Arrived at Fort Bridger airfield after hours last night, and found a high fence and keypad entry gate. Called the local sheriff and got the PIN. Great place to camp, with a distant view. Set up and flew, but no spectacular scenery here. A truck stop on the I-80 interstate. There are so many good truck stops with all services,. Along that amazing interstate highway system. Greeting a Union Pacific train.

JG's Flying/Roadtrip USA 2014. Monday, November 24, 2014. Trying to start the real flying trip. Finished up the family visits in Alberta, and crossed into the USA Aug 19, and was informed, quite sternly, that I cannot get an extension on my visa, so have to leave end of Nov after all. I had hoped to renew until Jan to be able to spend more time and money here (and they do need the money here, eh.), but not possible. Scenery in Glacier Park. Not very inviting ultralight flying terrain. At Augusta, MT.
