It's JG, just me. What's going on in my little world. Thursday, December 13, 2007. Congratulations are in order for my successful completion of the first round of the transfer (or augmentation) of my blogs to WordPress. I now know that as long as I load posts and not pages, they'll all go where they belong. All of my questions haven't been answered, but enough of them have that I'm reasonably confident I'll make it through the acceptance and early use phase of WordPress. December 24, 2007 at 10:10 PM.

It's JG, just me. What's going on in my little world. Thursday, January 10, 2008. It's been a laid-back four weeks. Lots of warm, cozy time with family and friends. Way too much to eat. Traveling here and there, never more than 250 miles at a crack. Nice long winter naps. Plenty of sleep. One of my "retirement" hobbies I'm pursuing is reading. I've always loved to read, but I haven't had time lately. Here are some of the books I've purchased recently:. Ken Follett: The Pillars of the Earth (not read).

It's chilly out, with the highest temperature in the 40s these days, but maybe, just maybe that will keep my apricots from blooming and then freezing them to an icy finish for this season. Can you see the early blooms? They just showed their pink and white faces today, when it was sunny but not that warm. This photo looks much better in "blogger" than in WordPress, by the way. It's JG, just me. What's going on in my little world. Saturday, February 2, 2008. Rusty and I explored the territory at Lake Lowell today. It was crisp in the wind, but the roads are dry and bare. We tromped across a field of snow. She is light enough that the layer of ice on top of the snow supports her. Not me. Today was Pathfinder Day for church. So I’m on the phone trying to find out from the cello store what they’ve learned in the five days since I took my cello there to be examined. Yes, indeed, David tells me, the place where the neck was glued in place is starting to open again. He says he can even run his fingernail in the gap that has formed and that this stress is slowly weakening the fingerboard. My cello is finished.
