Published and Unpublished Bits of Photojournalism by James Gregg. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Nogales is out of control. Drug cartel war has never been this violent here. What used to be periodic kidnappings and executions is now all out shootouts in major commercial sectors of town. AK-47s and hand grenades are the weapons of choice. The video is on the fly with a point and shoot, and on deadline, so I did what I could. Please give it a look at: http:/ videos.azstarnet.com/p/video?

When Paths Cross: Cold in Colorado
http://joshuabuck.blogspot.com/2009/12/cold-in-colorado.html
Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Freezing. Frigid. Frozen. Brrr. Thought the day before was cold, but -20 at 5 am and -12 when I had the great idea to walk around the corner to take some photos. I actually felt my nose hairs freeze. Of course I forgot gloves because the string that my mom tied to the gloves, which run through my coat sleeves broke. How convenient on a day like today. After a full day of shooting outside. I love long underwear. Posted by Joshua Buck. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
When Paths Cross: Mr. Mom
http://joshuabuck.blogspot.com/2009/11/mr-mom.html
Monday, November 23, 2009. Jeremy suspects some of the stay-at-home mothers he meets think he is gay. Others, including some men he was fishing with, asked if he has a disability that forced him to drop out of the workforce in order to watch his children full-time. Neither of which can be further from the truth. Posted by Joshua Buck. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Who posts here you ask? When Paths Cross: At least there's ice cream in Kansas
http://joshuabuck.blogspot.com/2009/10/at-least-theres-ice-cream-in-kansas.html
Saturday, October 24, 2009. At least there's ice cream in Kansas. Kansas wasn't very kind to the Colorado Buffaloes' football team today. Here in Manhattan, "The Little Apple," Kansas State whooped up on the ol' Buffs 20-6. Needless to say, it was pretty boring. The only thing that was remotely interesting was the quarterback flip flop, which left one Tyler Hansen scratching his head as he signaled in plays. Oh well, there will be more games and at least there was ice cream at the end. Nathan W. Armes.

The problem with being good enough. August 4, 2012. No Comments ↓. I’ve worked closely with a lot of companies over the years. Often I hear them expressing the desire to just make the work good enough. People feel there is too much to do to reach perfection on any one project. So they aim for good enough to get by. The problem with good enough is you are always playing from behind, never ahead. Good enough for today is what it takes to get by. It is not building for tomorrow. Apple and Microsoft. Alt...
