Subjet to the whimsy (read: crazy) and random ramblings of an American in Paris. Thursday, June 29, 2006. Munchen to Frankfurt: New Year’s Eve (St. Sylvestre). We ended up at a club that was miserably hot and smoky, but fun. Circulating through the crowd: two blonds each one taller over 6’4 and trashed as all hell. They actually looked a lot like Marlon and Shawn Wayans in White Girls. They were dancing on tables, falling over drunk, and wearing next to nothing. Posted by Serena at Thursday, June 29, 2006.

Subjet to the whimsy (read: crazy) and random ramblings of an American in Paris. Monday, May 22, 2006. Munchen I and II. Later, I decided to take a walk and discover the neighborhood. There is a giant mall/movie theatre complex a few blocks away no O.V.’s that night, several kebab stands, and a few large department stores. Nothing too spectacular, but a safe and (relatively) clean neighborhood. 1) Bavaria is frickin’ freezing in the winter. 2) The Rock Museum at the top of the tower is considerably less ...

Subjet to the whimsy (read: crazy) and random ramblings of an American in Paris. Tuesday, January 17, 2006. A Feast for the Princess that I am. Chirstmas Eve not Christmas Day, in Germany is the big day of celebration, and that night, my hotel was only serving guests a special holiday meal nothing à la carte nor room service (as they were running a skeleton crew). These women tend to be much to old to sport the second skin look, and adding a fur hat to your head? Monday, January 09, 2006. An intended ear...

Subjet to the whimsy (read: crazy) and random ramblings of an American in Paris. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Juin down, 12 more to go. Well, I have been in Paris for one month. It's been a crazy month full of landmark, wonderful things, but never have I felt overly excited or gotten the feeling that I am amidst something very important- even when Tom Cruise proposed to Katie Holmes atop the Eiffel Tower (I know- even then). Then, I am out the door and at my metro station (St. Sulpice) all before 8:45. Rue D...
