Krista, Obie, Gage, and Garrett. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Obie's birthday was on September 4, last Sunday, and all he wanted for his birthday was a trip to Colorado to go camping in the mountains! So, we set off for Colorado at 5am Saturday morning. We traded the 105 degree temperatures in Kansas to freeze our butts off in Colorado! It was cloudy and rainy a lot of our time there, and we even had some freezing rain one day! These are called the "Devil's Staircase", located between LaVeta and Cuchara.

Krista, Obie, Gage, and Garrett. Thursday, April 5, 2012. Our KU Jayhawks made it to the NCAA Championship game! We had a KU party at Scott and Danna's for the Final Four game against Ohio State. The final game was so late on a school night, the kids and I stayed home to watch it. They lost. :( So the game against Ohio State was a much better game to watch when we're at a party! Krista, Obie, Gage, and Garrett. Monday, October 31, 2011. We had a Halloween Costume Party at my mom's house on Sunday. Gage and Garrett are Spiderman and Superman. Janae (my niece) is a ladybug. September 20 I started The 17 Day Diet, that a lady I work with recommended to me. It's a little deceiving, because you can't just diet for 17 days! I met my original goal, which was to get back to "pre-baby" weight. But then I decided to keep going! Now I'm shooting for college weight! Which would be pretty fun, I think! Krista, Obie, Gage, and Garrett. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. The boys got to have 3 Easter Egg Hunts (lucky kids! They had one at daycare, one at Vintage Place (the assisted living place my grandpa is at), and one at Grandma Pepper's. They got to take their picture with the Easter Bunny at Vintage! On Easter morning, they woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had left them presents and a basket full of eggs! Easter caused a big setback with my diet. Oops. She's such a good sweet baby.
