I'm hoping 2010 brings some needed relaxation and less chaos! Chad, Emily, Holly and Cassie. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Where did the summer go? I can't believe it's the middle of September and I haven't updated my blog since June! It was a fun, busy summer. Here are a few highlights. In June the girls and I flew cross country to spend time with my family in California. It's always a great time! My parents braved LegoLand with us and of course the girls wanted to only ride with Grandma and Grandpa. In July Holly started second grade. She's growing up so fast!

Chad, Emily, Holly and Cassie. Monday, December 1, 2008. We had a great time in Atlanta with Chad's parents for Thanksgiving. Lots of yummy food and a nice, relaxing time with family. The girls love going to Grandma and Papa's. Once again I didn't take many pictures. I did get these of the girls playing in the leaves. They had a blast! Happy Birthday to my sweet husband. I had been looking forward to this day for 2 years, but when it came I really wasn't ready to actually graduate and be done with school. I was, however, very excited to see my classmates and friends. Monday, September 3, 2012. Labor Day Weekend Hike. After our Saturday of Zumba fun we recovered on Sunday. Then on Monday we had wanted to hike Timp, but we weren't sure if we would time it perfectly for Nicole's flight home later that night. So we chose to do a hike that none of us had done up Slate Canyon (right by our house) that came out back by the Y and then we did the full circle back to our car. It was about a 6 hour hike and was definitely a butt buster! Here are some photos from the excursion.
