Monday, March 30, 2009. We had our first ever Family Retreat at our church last weekend. We went to Pine Cove Crier Creek in Columbus had had an aweosme time! As some of you know I used to work at Pine Cove in Tyler back during college and LOVE PC! So of course their staff and facilities were amazing and our families loved it! I also got to hang out with my youth pastor from home, Chad, who is now the Family Minister at my home church! He came in to speak to our families and brought the whole family!

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Wilco will love you baby . Like Andrea mentioned, Jakeb and I went to see Wilco Monday night. We drove from Dallas to Oklahoma City, Watched a three hour concert and drove back. We got home at 2:10 am but not before being pulled over by a Texas highway patrolman. He gave me a warning because I told him we were moving to Singapore. The concert was totally worth the trip. Wilco is amazing live. Here are some pictures:. A reminder that there's something bigger for me to do than pick up the dry cleaning and change the sheets. As we say goodbye to people we won't see for a while, I'm reminded that we're a part of something bigger and still very much connected no matter where we happen to be on this planet as long as we're connected to Christ and his work. Our days are pretty full right now in general but mostly with fun stuff and not all the packing and planning junk so I don't mind this kind of busy. Saturday, Tori and Jakeb had their Kenya trip training and I went to take the team pic. I'm not a photographer but at least it's captured. They are really excited about going now as if they weren't before. The trip is in July. You'll be able to follow along on the Kenya blog soon. We love you guys!

The video provided a fun way to learn how to write a certain coding problem. I felt that we could have been more specific when explaining the code and the functions within it.
