Monday, 3 September 2012. The first gooseberry harvest. Here is a photo of the overflowing bowl of gooseberries that Mummy just picked in the garden. We planted 125 bare-rooted gooseberry plants in May so weren't expecting much of a harvest this year. Monday, 30 April 2012. Three of our sheep are due to give birth any day now. Here is a photo of them from two weeks ago, not long after they were sheared. It's still quite difficult to see that they are expecting lambs, but now it's more obvious. Another picnic overlooking Tinsjøen. And we roasted pølse again. We also had a very nice week at the Ost See in Germany, but Mummy doesn't have any photos of that since she was at a tradeshow in Oslo. Saturday, 30 June 2012. The year's first harvest. We picked the biggest ones this morning together. I tasted them but didn't like them. Isla loves them though! She also likes the tiny lettuce leaves and rocket that are growing fast now. I got to wash them off with the hose before we tried them. Sunny day in the grass. Wednesday, 29 February 2012. January 22, 2012. Hytte tur i Januar / Hytte visit in January. Before the first snow melt. This photo was only taken a few days ago (perhaps in the middle of February), but we've now had some warm weather. Most of the snow in this photo is now gone. Friday, 31 August 2012. Our first holiday days. Here we are in Sachsen doing some sightseeing with Opa. We went to a fantastic birds of prey show at the top of Augustusburg castle. Opa bought me a feather from one of the birds. It's from a Schneegeier (snow vulture) that flew really close over our heads during the demonstration. We also saw eagles, owls and falcons. Here we are in washing buckets at Oma and Opa Frank's garden in Mulda. It was HOT the whole time we were on holiday. Jens and the fire engine.
