Sunday, June 1, 2014. Sactown and Back Down. We came back for some end of the year merriment and the last of our ballet/tap classes for a bit. To make this post as convoluted and non-sensical as possible, I thought I should add that I like this shopping site, Golden Tote. Neufeld News: Buck Rock Lookout
http://neufeld-news.blogspot.com/2012/07/buck-rock-lookout.html
This Fresno family of four loves to have fun! Wednesday, July 11, 2012. We took a trip to the Buck Rock lookout this weekend. It’s a fire lookout in the high Sierra that offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains. The lookout has a person in residence full-time during fire season and is open to the public. Here is a recap of our trip. After almost 3 miles, turn left at the Horse Camp Campground. This is a 2.5 mile dirt road that is one-lane and full of ruts and rocks. At the top, there is a sm...

Neufeld News: So Happy
http://neufeld-news.blogspot.com/2011/01/so-happy.html
This Fresno family of four loves to have fun! Saturday, January 15, 2011. I am insanely happy right now. Do you want to know what self-seeking, consumerist item makes me this way? So what do you do with an old, broken electric blanket? The plant wont mind if the electric isnt electric anymore. I soooooo want an electric blanket but Jason wont hear of it! I like the point that you can warm up your bed before you get in it. Ill have to try and see if that one works! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A mother's journal of love. Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Hands free. Please be me! This is a follow up to my last blog in which I reflected on Hands Free Mama's blog. I read an article the same week about smart devices and how they are at times making us less productive. People check their phone about every six minutes! At first you think "naw! I don't do that! And sure at times you go an hour. But then other times you check it even more often! It's our boredom buster! My phone checking time? We tried to ban...

Autism Spoke...: August 2011
http://autismspoke.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
And now it's my turn to say something. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. I'm gonna whine a bit. Consideration. I've asked for it quite a bit the last few months. Not because I think I'm special or that if I want something so much, it ought to just be given to me without question. Those who know me, those who know my family, and most importantly, those who know the situation we find ourselves in with our son (Matthew, 4, Autism) are usually really good about taking what we have to do into consideration. As luck...

Autism Spoke...: There's no place like (our) home for the holidays.
http://autismspoke.blogspot.com/2011/11/theres-no-place-like-our-home-for.html
And now it's my turn to say something. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. There's no place like (our) home for the holidays. The holidays are fast approaching. They always come this time of year don't they? Things are different now though. While we (most of us) get some time off for the holidays, my son doesn't get a break from autism. Since he doesn't get a break from it, we don't get a break from the things that come with having a son with autism. Those things include:. Finding things he'll eat. Subscribe to: ...
