The History of Ji Dao. Ji Dao: One of its Kind in Western World. Ji Dao was established in Norway as a result of collaboration among masters teaching various martial arts in different countries. The basic idea was to coordinate martial arts education and standardise the training routines and forms. This effort would be in line with similar extensive work being done in countries such as China, Japan and other countries in east and south Asia.

When we chose this name for our institution, our goal was clear: to provide the ultimate way of achieving dexterity in martial arts and to benefit from regular training. We have standardised study plans for each course, which the instructors are urged to follow. This will help to eliminate injuries elsewise associated with martial arts training.
