Monday, January 30, 2012. Maybe all of you have been doing this forever, but it's new to me, so I thought I'd share. I made yogurt! It's so tasty. And EASY! Boil 4 cups of milk (stir so it doesn't burn.). Let it cool to 115-120 degrees. Stir in acidophilus/pro-biotic (I used 12 acidophilus capsules. You can buy them in the refrigerated vitamin section at a natural grocers.) *People have told me this can be done by adding in a plain yogurt to the milk, but I didn't hae success with this*. Friday, January 18, 2013. And A Happy Martin Luther King Jr's Day! I realize it's January 18th and I'm just now posting about Christmas. Whoops. I've had some polite hints from friends to update our blog, so I'm obliging! Christmas was good, but I didn't feel like we got to slow down enough this year. And it seems like it was more about the worldly side of Christmas. Gifts are wonderful, but I feel like most of us have forgotten what a good gift is. It's definitely not an obligation! He goes to bed between 8 and 9 at night, then usually sleeps till 6:30 -7:30 in the morning. He likes to eat about every 3 hours and kinda cat naps throughout the day. She loves her brother so much, and honestly, she is incredible help. This morning Jasper was having a tough time falling asleep for his cat nap, so she rocked him and sang to him.
