Life with Claire & Paige: Happy 2nd Birthday Paige
http://mylifewithclaire.blogspot.com/2013/03/happy-2nd-birthday-paige.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Happy 2nd Birthday Paige. Sadly, I only got this one picture of Paige and Grandma saying goodbye at the airport. Happy 2nd Birthday Paige. I CANNOT believe she is 2. People always say that but I really mean it. It's so bittersweet to me. I really loved Paige as a baby and she is such a joy even still. I guess I can let her get big. Sigh. Now we just need Grandma to come visit again because 4 days isn't enough! Posted by Life with Claire. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life with Claire & Paige: Daddy went to the big D....DENVER
http://mylifewithclaire.blogspot.com/2013/03/daddy-went-to-big-ddenver.html
Sunday, March 10, 2013. Daddy went to the big D.DENVER. Eric had a work trip in Denver so the girls and I did our best to enjoy the week alone. Claire was in school but I got to leave Paige with a friend so I could go have lunch with Claire and her buds. They were too cute and boy do they love to talk when a visitor is there! I don't care if she is Suri Cruise and is 5 when she gives it up. I won't do it though. I threw the bottle away. It's gone. I just hope she gets over soon! Posted by Life with Claire.

Life with Claire & Paige: Spring Break
http://mylifewithclaire.blogspot.com/2013/04/spring-break.html
Wednesday, April 3, 2013. PINETOP, AZ ROADTRIP! The only person who is the exception to this is my husband because he could sleep standing up and sleeps like a rock. I sleep like a cat on a hot tin roof.always on alert with every noise! Our first full day in Pinetop we drove to see some snow. The girls really did enjoy touching the snow and building a snowman. We were dressed like city folk but we made it work. Some wet boots and tennis shoes never hurt anyone! Posted by Life with Claire.

Life with Claire & Paige: March 2013
http://mylifewithclaire.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Claire had her first sleepover at our house! As a mom I feel so lucky that Claire has a special friend. I found my bf, Kaylan, in kindergarten and she is still like a sister to me now. I can only hope the same friendship will carry them through the years too. Posted by Life with Claire. These Two Mommies: April 2010
http://thesetwomommies.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 17, 2010. Knock, Knock – Who’s there? Okay, truth be told – I’m not often nervous about anything. However, the moment the phone rang, to set up an appointment with our Social Worker, my heart flittered! What will she ask? Is the house clean? Since she was arriving at noon, what shall we serve for lunch? Umm….I can hear Walmart calling my name! At this point, my phone dials itself to Gerry’s office, my stepmother’s home, and a direct Google chat with my supervisor at work! 8221; Our Social...

These Two Mommies: January 2011

Thursday, January 20, 2011. What's in a Birth Mother Letter. Where does one start in writing a birth mother letter. This has to be the most difficult letter we have ever written in our lives. What do we say? Can we convey our feelings in 1200 words or less. I cannot begin to tell you how much we love this person, without even having met her yet. We poured our hearts into this letter and sent the first revision to the adoption center during the holiday break. Love, Kim and Gerry. Posted by Kim, Phoenix.

These Two Mommies: May 2010

Sunday, May 9, 2010. It Takes a Village. As a young child, I can remember Mother’s Day being a big event. My Grandmother would be in the kitchen cooking “gravy” and meatballs. I would be in the living room with my Crayola Markers and homemade Mother’s Day card made out of construction paper. Around 1 pm “the family” would visit and. 8220;Are you talking to me? Sorry for the digression. My Robert Deniro impression comes out from time to time. As Gerry and I visited with the Social Worker last Friday, we w...
