just for jillian: December 2005
http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2005. I just added three links this morning, and I wanted to tell you why. These are the blogs of three courageous, single women who are also in various stages of the adoption process. Their posts are inspirational and entertaining! Posted by Joannah @ 8:29 AM. Like most people, I'm good at making resolutions, just not so good at keeping them! My other resolutions include: managing non-work time better, sticking to my budget, growing spiritually, and volunteering to help others.

just for jillian: February 2006
http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2006. Rainy Days and Mondays. No, I'm not down (remember the Carpenters' song? I like a rainy night. The rain started just before lunch today, so I wasn't stuck inside with my students all day long, but I might be tomorrow. I received the application packet from Adoption Options today, and filled it out a little while ago. Tomorrow I'll make copies and hopefully get it FedEx'd to them. March is going to be a good and productive month for this paperchase. I just know it! All this whil...

just for jillian: January 2006
http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 27, 2006. I was hoping my dossier 'starter packet' would have arrived in today's mail. I received final approval to begin the paperchase on Monday this week, and I was told that the packet was on its way. But all I found when I checked my mail box today was some junk mail and a bill. They had their dossiers logged in at the CCAA in late April through mid-May. That means they waited about nine months for their referrals. If that wait time holds (who can really say? just for jillian: March 2006
http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 31, 2006. I've recovered fully from my temper tantrum (see below). I put my energies to better use tonight by vacuuming up two weeks' worth of dog hair, revising my financial statement, and writing letters in support of HR 1561. Before I explain the latter, let me just say that those revisions to my financial statement resulted in a big difference of approximately $500. Whatever. Next time I'll post some pictures of cute baby clothes I picked up yesterday. This week required retail ther...

http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 31, 2006. I'm taking the day off to finish my final paper for this block. There are five blocks in this program and after today I will have completed two of them. This class has been Assessment and Inclusion for Diverse Classrooms. Fascinating, huh? I'd post my final paper, but I don't want to flaunt my genius (or bore you to death). Posted by Joannah @ 7:52 AM. Monday, May 29, 2006. We walked on the beach at Omaha where numerous French families were enjoying a perfect summer day splashing...

http://justforjillian.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 30, 2006. Instead of relishing four days off this long holiday weekend, I'll be exercising my intellect. There's an 8:55 pm deadline on Tuesday (hello, the Fourth of July! On my first big assignment for this class I'm taking. So, I need to get busy and crank out this five part paper over the next three days. Have a drink for me this weekend! Update: Come to find out this is a THESIS! Posted by Joannah @ 3:04 PM. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. What's In Your Pantry? I have to admit that while I en...
