A Little Creation : hi!
http://alittlecreations.blogspot.com/2014/12/hi.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. I know I haven't been around in a while. I hadn't been much in a mood to write. In October after working with the same Teacher for 14 years, I was out of the blue unceremoniously reassigned to a new classroom. The good points are:. It is still in town. I work for the County, the farthest school site is almost 2hrs away. I'm still with preschoolers! I know the new Teacher I'm working with now. So now I'm back on a District school campus and all the fun that entails. =]. When I ...

A Little Creation : what I made for the zombie swap
http://alittlecreations.blogspot.com/2014/09/what-i-made-for-zombie-swap.html
Saturday, September 27, 2014. What I made for the zombie swap. Now that my partner has gotten her package I can show you what I made for the Animated Zombie Swap. Once I saw her list it was a no brainer which movie to choose, Frankenweenie! I down loaded pictures of Sparky and went to work. I found directions for making Sparky on a baking site called sprinklebakes. I didn't take photos of the process because I'm sure the way I built him was not the easiest or correct way to do it. I've really enjoyed the...

The Pyrex Collective: November 2013
http://pyrexcollective.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 30, 2013. I finally completed my Primary Dots. Set in February of this year. I collected each piece from a different source. The often pricey Green Dot. Was my final piece- an Etsy score for only $50. The only one I found "in the wild" was the Yellow Dot. And it was at a local antique mall for $10. I bought the Orange Dot. On eBay for $9.99. Blue Dot. Was also an eBay purchase for $26.06- an auction win. So, my Primary Dots together cost me $100.04. Not too bad? Long time, No posts!

The Pyrex Collective: August 2013
http://pyrexcollective.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 17, 2013. Above, you will find my new Moon Deco casserole dish. I just think it's the coolest Pyrex design ever. It was also my most expensive single purchase, but there is a story. We were at the Southwarks antique mall in Cambridge, ON last week. My husband came walking towards me with the dish in his hands and asked if $28 was a fair price. I almost grabbed it out of his hands. "Yes! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to Pyrex Collective I. And the newly minted Pyrex Collective III.

A Little Creation : January 2015
http://alittlecreations.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Yes, while everyone else got ready to go back to work/school I still have another week off. That's what happens when the school district decides it is losing too much money because families are still in Mexico. I'd rather get off a week earlier at the end of the year, but I'm not consulted. Valerie, over at Yarnigras swapper spot. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). When I was 10, I remember buying my very first book w/o any adult intervention, and that book has a quote in it I have tri...

The Pyrex Collective: July 2013
http://pyrexcollective.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 28, 2013. I just wanted to post this ad from eBay. So that Gooseberry on the top with the burner and lid - it was actually sold that way? That colour in JAJ is also a nesting set? It's that coral red colour. I love when people discard JAJ bowls at the thrifts after pulling back the sticker and not seeing that PYREX mark. I once saw that four set cup set thing in the bottom, but it was like $42. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to Pyrex Collective I. Bargain Hunting Treasure Seeker. A href...

The Gluten Free Pastor's Wife: Spring Junk
http://gfpastorswife.blogspot.com/2015/04/spring-junk.html
The Gluten Free Pastor's Wife. A blog about vintage values and thrifted vintage goodness and decor. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Found the vintage wagon at a yard sale for $5. On the Front Porch! Oh how I love finding things I didn't know existed. It's a vintage note holder for the front door. 25 cents at an estate sale. Well, it's been really busy. Today I am exhausted, and I just needed a day. A day for pure pleasure. What did I first think of wanting to do? From a yard sale! I love this mug! Yes, it was ti...
