Notes from the Nest. Thursday, August 26, 2010. So I've decided to posthumously post on some things we've done recently. This summer Blake went to Chess Camp for a week. He learned a lot about chess and when he wasn't in class or a tournament he got to go boating on the lake, do archery, swim, and have a real summer camp experience. It was in Big Bear, so he spent the night in a cabin and slept on the top bunk of a bunk bed (a dream come true for him). Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Btw, this really is Cass).

Friday, April 6, 2012. Kaelyn had to have her wisdom (wizzies) teeth out today. That's what the doctor I work for calls them. (Also the oral surgeon that took them out.) A mid-way destination and rarely the soul reason for a visit to Las Vegas. but occasionally it does rain here and a spectacular rainbow stretches across the desert valley, this summer Paige's visit was one of those rare occasions. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Maggie and her paper creations. When Grandma Richins came to town she showed Maggie how to cut animals out of paper. Since then, our house is littered when unicorns, dogs, horses, monsters and other paper creations along with snippets of confetti.
