Jim and Pat Bertrand. Hot, Hazy and Health. God Protects →. Knowing we had a lot of ground to cover we got up early this morning and were on the road by 6:30 AM as the sun was rising. Our travels covered several varied landscapes from mountains to rolling hills and also flat plains. Since we spent about 12 hours on the road covering over 700 miles we saw a section of three states Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. Life on the road was so much more relaxing. Except for all the driving in the last few days for our push to get home! Our trip lasted 84 daysexactly 12 weeks. We covered 12,257 miles. Our journey took us through 16 states and 1 province of Canada. We used almost 1,000 gallons of fuel! We took thousands of pictures!
