The adventures of James and Ruth as we sail away for 6 months. November 16, 2009. Leaving Tangalooma – best sail yet! Tangalooma was packing out with the weekend dashers and yes it is schoolies time. The yacht ‘Solo’ was taking a group on a tour of Moreton Bay and we got to see them jumping (pushed) over the side of Solo to begin their 50 m swim to the wrecks, while the skipper whistled and yelled instructions. Fishes at the Tangalooma Wrecks. Cruising through the race course, we gave way of course.

Well all our brisbane tasks are done now till December and we’re off again tomorrow for a while longer this time. Some more training to be done, going to practice Man or Woman Over Board (including collecting them after they go overboard! Tangalooma should be our port for the week up until the wind changes to the north when we’ll head back down to the southern end of the bay.
