Wednesday, April 9, 2008. I am taking an exam tomorrow of which I am not prepared. I have pages and pages of notes and reading to do, but I just can't get off the Wii. What can I do? Wii have a problem. First of all don't say Wii. Only U have a problem. And it is only a issue if you are hoping to graduate school. This is not an issue if your goal is to become a video game god. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Mister Rogers confused me. As a small child I watched Mister Rogers Neighborhood to understand how the world works. I find myself confused because it seems like the world isn't as he portrayed it. Could you please help me understand my confusion? Rogers.over and out! Dear Rogers.over and out! Here is where the confusion comes in. Mr. Rogers, "pretended" to be at home, when he showed up for work. His work was to teach boys and girls about life. I feel your confusion!

A blog focused on insights for parents. Monday, January 14, 2008. Eroding self esteem is much easier than building it. We need to be searchers of strengths rather than searchers of weaknesses. I agree with that statement and add "not only in other people, but within ourselves as well.". We shouldn't be afraid to talk about things that need improvement. And when you do, start out with positives and talk about the developmental opportunities from a context what they are already doing well.

A blog focused on insights for parents. Sunday, January 13, 2008. When you become a parent your idea of time changes. Before parenting you can measure results in the immediate future. As a parent, when you do something for your child your expectation moves to years. There is no way that a child can understand the sacrifices made, until they have to make the same sacrifices. As the dance between the child and the parent increased, the parent moves into a death grip with the child over compliance. How dare you disobey (Talk back,defy, insert your personal favorite) me!
