Friday, July 1, 2011. July 1, 2011. Jim has made great strides during the past few weeks at Pacifica. Rehab in preparation for his planned move to acute rehab at Kaiser Vallejo! Walker' as well as the slight support of his physical therapist. This is an amazing sight to see! Monday, September 19, 2011. September 19, 2011. Sorry for the delay in updates but Jim's first month home has been jam packed with therapy sessions and wonderful adjustments back to real life! Overall, Jim made a smooth transition home. He is now a part of Kaiser's home care therapy program which includes sessions of PT, OT, Speech Therapy and nursing care in the comfort of our home. Though it is a bittersweet feeling, Jim's doctor had told us that you know a patient is beginning to heal when he complains of pain as opposed to being fully medicated and unemotional.
