H James Norton PhD. Jim Norton is Professor Emeritus of Biostatistics, Carolinas HealthCare System. He was the Director of Biostatistics at the Carolinas Medical Center for 26 years where he helped design and analyze medical studies. Additionally, he taught an annual short course in biostatistics to faculty and residents at the hospital. Norton also taught introductory biostatistics to undergraduates for over 20 years, the majority of the time at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
