Sunday, September 18, 2005. My First Silkscreen Print! After many mistakes, I've finally finished my first hand-pulled, silkscreen print! I taught myself by reading in books and looking online. I started with 40, but ended up with only having 12 excellent prints that I feel comfortable selling. This was a great learning experience and I'm sure my next print will go much smoother. I'm already gearing up for the next one. So, here it is. 12x19, 3-color silkscreen limited-edition print on 100lb stock, $40.

Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Since I had this week off from illustration friday, I decided to paint this for Noah's room. So, while you were all struggling with your sorrowful pieces, I was doing this fun and happy painting! Posted by noah's dad at 4:43 PM. Monday, February 21, 2005. I was delighted to find that this week's subject was my suggestion. I'm sorry to say that I had other motives. I wanted a break! I did this illustration a couple of months ago for a story about suicide and wanted to share it.

Thursday, January 27, 2005. Wendy, Ron, and The Colonel. I missed last weeks topic. I really wanted to do it but had absolutly no time. I have a good excuse though, we moved into our first home. It's great to have a place that is all our own, not to mention a whole room dedicated to my studio! Below is my entry for this week's topic, gluttony. I started thinking, "What if each fast-food mascot ate nothing but their own food? This is what they would look like. Posted by noah's dad at 2:29 AM.

Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Sure, you can save 35 on a pair of tube socks, but at what cost? Small businesses suffer because they can't compete with big box store prices. Wal-Mart is bad for small businesses and bad for America. Posted by noah's dad at 7:09 PM. Thursday, March 24, 2005. I received this forward from my illustrator friend Rob Collinet. Please consider supporting. Send an email to info@illustratorspartnership.org and add your name to the list. FROM THE ILLUSTRATORS' PARTNERSHIP. March 9, 2005.
