Short eared owl - Thorpe Marshes. Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Big Birding Day Out-14th may 2015. Then I heard a Tree Pipit( a target bird for the day as not usually seen on the day out). After a bit of time Tony managed to pick it up on a tree top along the railway line-Luvly jubly! We all got on it as it slowly made its way across . Now I was happy! Weeting Heath- 10.40am. Photos of birds and occasional words. Sunday, 28 June 2015. Little Owl in the rain. Not the best weather for photographing Owls today. Saturday, 27 June 2015. A few of my non-wildlife images from this year so far. Friday, 26 June 2015. Earlier in the year I was in Edinburgh and from the Hotel window there was a Heron that would regularly frequent the weir that was on view below. It could be seen feeding every night on the river bank. Needless to say, the photos of this activity were rubbish.
